SRX19554682: Whole genome sequencing of P. polyandra: two years old seedlings
1 OXFORD_NANOPORE (PromethION) run: 172 spots, 1G bases, 250.5Mb downloads

Design: A total amount of 2 g DNA per sample was used as input material for the ONT (Oxford Nanopore Technologies, UK) library preparations. After the sample was qualified, size-select of long DNA fragments were performed using the BluePippin system (Sage Science, USA). Next, the ends of DNA fragments were repaired and A-ligation reaction were conducted with NEBNext Ultra II End Repair/dA-tailing Kit ((New England Biolabs, UK). The adapter in the SQK-LSK109 kit (Nanopore, UK) was used for further ligation reaction and Qubit 3.0 Fluorometer (Invitrogen, USA) was used to quantify the size of library fragments. Then the genome of P. polyandra was sequenced on Oxford Nanopore PromethION at Nextomics Biosciences (Wuhan), China.

Study: Chromosome-level reference genome analyses of Poncirus polyandra provide insights into the identification of resistance genes associated with cold and disease stresses
show Abstracthide Abstract
Poncirus polyandra, a plant species with extremely small populations endemic to Yunnan Province, has been extinct in the wild. This study aims to mine the functional genes for improving tolerance to abiotic and biotic stresses.
Sample: Plant sample from Poncirus polyandra
